First track is like a remix of Fine Young Cannibals :D ...ok even...first two tracks. Quite original stuff....
Upcoming: ‘Unknown Fate’ is the debut release from UF - the collaborative live project between German experimental techno artist OAKE and British producer and live performer Samuel Kerridge.
Self-described as the ‘power metal techno’ duo, the project was initially born from an Atonal commission. Now, OAKE & Kerridge present two EPs ‘Unknown’ and ‘Fate’, culminating in 9 tracks of unadulterated sonic warfare for their LP release.
Of the project UF say "Forged through friendship, addiction, and debauchery, UF is the sum of our parts. It’s taken over a decade to formulate these ideas and the noise is palpable. Pack your end of world survival bags and prepare yourselves for the ensuing riot.”
Samuel Kerridge and OAKE started creating music together when they shared a studio in Berlin and have been making music together for a decade. This is the first time that they have released music as a duo and it’s been a long time in the making. https://unknownfate.bandcamp.com/album/unknown-fate
Awesome:
Great to here your story, I'm always curious to find fans or connectors! My story has a humble beginning. I found Coil by accident! Or maybe they found me? I think Triple Sun was probably the first Coil song I ever heard and it definitely didn’t strike a chord with me at the time, in the way I thought I’d become a big fan of their work! It wasn’t until I was given a dvd around the same time with lots of files of music with no information on it! It was mainly ebm and industrial! I was just listening through casually with it in the background one day, when this dungeon synth like swipe came in with a gated kick and then snare, after that, I was all ears! The vocal appears (Circle within circle) and I knew this was something for me. It felt ancient and otherworldly which I now know is the Magick! I later ask my friend what it was and he said Coil! And Specifically, Cathedral In Flames from Scatology. I then went on a Coil bender listen to Scatology and Horse Rotorvator back to back, and I have been a fan and collector even since. I somehow preferred the early stuff for the longest of time, as that's what got me first, but through all the years, digging and researching, it all holds together for me. Coil his very dear to me and it always gives to me when I feel I'm missing something.
